Clothes-Pin

Clothes-pin, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, donates cast off marathon clothing to homeless shelters.

In 2007, Michael Resnic and his daughter, Madeline, watched a major Philadelphia marathon. As the race started, the runners shed clothing: hats, gloves, sweatpants, you name it. Watching the cast off clothing being placed into sanitation trucks, they were inspired. That year, they grabbed about fifty pieces of clothing, and donated them to a local homeless shelter. To date, Michael, Madeline and lots of other volunteers have collected and donated over thirty seven thousand pieces of clothing, and over a thousand pairs of shoes.

This year- who knows? But we're trying to find people to help. Know of a marathon? Have a group of friends? Lets talk!
