clothes-pin, a Center City Philadelphia, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, donates clothing to people in need. Via major sporting venues, our volunteers collect, sort and distribute articles of clothing and sneakers to men’s, women’s and family shelters, local to each event. Since witnessing the discarding of clothing at a major marathon in 2007, clothes-pin has collected & donated in excess of 80,000 articles including hats, gloves, hoodies, sweatpants and shirts, along with thousands of pairs of sneakers. Our efforts are made possible by the generosity of the running community, partnering organizations, dedicated staff and our amazing volunteers, comprised of corporate groups, high schools students, collegiate sports teams, friends, family and neighbors. Athleta Sneaker Collection
New Event for 2013!
New for 2013, Athleta and clothes-pin have partnered to create a month long sneaker collection program during February, at both their Center City (Walnut Street) and King of Prussia Mall locations. Look for the white collection boxes near check out!

Bucks County Roadrunners
Our 3rd Year!
The Bucks County Roadrunners have envisioned & created a unique Clothing Collection Series and will be collecting clothing at each of their 12 races for their 2012-13 Winter Series!
clothes-pin will be at the final race to collect all the proceeds.

Phillies Charity 5K
NEW EVENT for 2013!
The Philadelphia Phillies has asked clothes-pin to participate in the 2013 Phillies 5K Run and will be collecting slightly used sneakers at the 2-Day Race Packet Pick-up at Citizens Bank Park, March 20-21. All proceeds to be distributed to Bethesda Project in Center City.

The Broad Street Run
Our 4th Year!
clothes-pin will be returning to their largest race of the year for the 2013 BSR. Please join us at Lincoln Financial Field for the Health & Fitness Expo Sneaker Collection and attempt to break our record 1,000 sneakers collected! We will also be on Broad Street for the Clothing Collection Campaign. All proceeds to be distributed to Bethesda Project in Center City.
